Meet Dr. Robert Bernie
Dr. Bernie is a native of San Francisco. During his many years in the Bay Area he graduated from Campolindo High School in 1973 and studied liberal arts at St. Mary's College. The following year was spent traveling through Europe and the Middle East. He completed his studies in biology at UC Berkeley. The next 9 years were spent in Baltimore MD. He graduated with a DDS from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1984.
After three years of general practice he completed post graduate work in endodontics in 1989, while teaching part time at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. During his endodontic training, Dr. Bernie completed a record number of endodontic cases utilizing new technologies that shorten chair time and improve treatment accuracy.
In 1989 Dr. Bernie returned to the East Bay to practice the specialty of Endodontics. He and his wife currently live in San Francisco. He is a a member of Contra Costa Dental Society, Northern California Society of Endodontics, California State Dental Association, American Dental Association and American Association of Endodontics.
