Dr. Negah Talebi
Dr. Talebi received her undergraduate degree in Physiological Sciences from University of California, Los Angeles. She pursued her dental education at the College of Dental Medicine in Illinois, where she discovered her passion for endodontics. She further solidified this passion by focusing her research on dental pulp stem cells, which enhanced her knowledge of regenerative dentistry and strengthened her commitment to the field of endodontics.
After obtaining her dental degree, Dr. Talebi practiced as a general dentist in the Chicagoland area for over two years. During this period, she acquired valuable experience managing a diverse patient population and addressing a wide spectrum of dental conditions. Her time as a general dentist allowed her to solidify her clinical expertise while developing a deep sense of compassion for her patients.
Dr. Talebi completed her endodontic residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she served as chief resident, demonstrating her organizational and leadership skills. During her post-doctoral education, her research focused on advanced materials and techniques in endodontics and their effects on treatment outcomes. Her efforts in research led to a publication in the Journal of Endodontics, titled “Clinical and Radiographic Failure of Nonsurgical Endodontic Treatment and Retreatment Using Single-cone Technique With Calcium Silicate-based Sealers: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.” Dr. Talebi strongly believes in the value of evidence-based dentistry and familiarity with new materials and techniques in endodontics. She aims to continuously update her clinical knowledge and incorporate new approaches into her practice to make the procedures safer and more comfortable for her patients.
Dr. Talebi’s comprehensive training and clinical experience in both general dentistry and endodontics along with her compassionate personality enables her to treat patients with anxiety and complex medical histories. She is committed to providing comfortable and high-quality care to her patients.
Additionally, Dr. Talebi is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics and the Northern California Academy of Endodontics. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga and Pilates, hiking, and exploring her culinary skills in the kitchen.
