Dr. Sahar Dadvand
Dr. Sahar Dadvand has been practicing endodontics in the Bay Area since 2015 and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Originally from Iran, she is proud to call the Bay Area home, where she resides with her family and remains actively engaged in a vibrant professional community.
Dr. Dadvand earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She subsequently completed advanced training in Hospital Dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, where she gained extensive experience managing patients with dental anxiety, complex medical conditions, and special healthcare needs.
She went on to complete her specialty training in endodontics at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. This rigorous program provided her with advanced expertise in root canal therapy, pain management, and the treatment of complex endodontic cases.
Dr. Dadvand is trained in both oral and intravenous conscious sedation and has significant experience providing care in hospital and operating room settings, enabling her to deliver safe, comfortable treatment across a broad spectrum of patient needs.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. She also serves as a chair member of the Northern California Association of Endodontists.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Dadvand has contributed to dental education as a part-time faculty member at the UCSF School of Dentistry and continues to serve as an associate professor at both UCSF and the University of the Pacific.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Dadvand enjoys mountain climbing, yoga, skydiving, and music. She plays both the piano and the santoor, a traditional Persian instrument.
